Abbie Passero | Founder & Impact Storyteller

At Hopelet Ink, we don’t just write grants—we spark revolutions in funding. I built this company on a rebel truth: nonprofits shouldn’t have to beg to survive; they should be funded to thrive.

My path has been anything but ordinary. I’ve torn through red tape, rewriting the rules of what it means to secure support. I’ve raised funds for organizations on the frontlines of domestic and sexual violence, addiction recovery, youth empowerment, education, animal welfare, brain health and community wellness. My work has powered shelters, legal services, prevention programs, and grassroots dreams into unstoppable realities, drawing on my expertise in crisis, trauma and substance abuse as a certified Mental Health First Aid instructor.

With a Master of Science in Business, 15+ years in operations and finance, and hands-on expertise in crisis, trauma, and mental health, I bring both strategic firepower and grounded stability to every partnership. My background spans from managing multi-million-dollar budgets to coaching small nonprofits through their very first grants. I bring both rebel firepower and steady strategy to every partnership.

Hopelet Ink was created for the changemakers—the nonprofits fighting for children, families, animals, survivors, and communities who deserve more than scraps. Here, your vision won’t get lost in jargon or “grant-speak.” I translate passion into funder-ready proposals and strategic roadmaps that ignite action, attract dollars, and turn overlooked causes into unstoppable forces for change.

We’re not here to play nice with the status quo. We’re here to disrupt, deliver, and defy the odds—together.

Nicolette Poirier | Impact Support Coordinator

At Hopelet Ink, I write to protect what matters most. I believe every grant is a chance to give the planet and our communities a louder, stronger voice.

My journey began with a lifelong love for writing and evolved into a mission to write for impact. I graduated from the University of New Haven with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, where I learned not just the science of conservation, but the storytelling behind it - the power of turning data and passion into action.

Before joining Hopelet Ink, I gained hands-on experience in conservation through internships at Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo and the Disney College Program, both focused on environmental stewardship and sustainability. Whether I was working with horticulture programs or supporting community-based conservation efforts, I saw firsthand how funding fuels change.

Now, as part of Hopelet Ink’s powerhouse team, I channel that same passion into writing for causes that protect both our people and the planet. From mental health and community wellness to education, animal welfare, and environmental restoration, I bring the heart of a conservationist and the voice of a storyteller to every proposal I write.

My goal is simple: to connect mission-driven organizations with the resources they need to protect, heal, and reimagine our world.

Because whether we’re saving species, strengthening communities, or supporting mental well-being - we’re safeguarding hope.

And that’s a story worth funding.
